Vice-Chancellor visits Söderhamn during her county trip
During the spring and autumn of 2015 the Vice-Chancellor of Gävle University, Maj-Britt Johansson will visit the municipalities in the county. On Tuesday the 5th of May it will be the third visit for the Vice-Chancellor to Söderhamn.
“The idea behind the county trip is to see how the University can contribute in supporting the development of the region. I look forward to the visit in Söderhamn” says Maj-Britt Johansson, Vice-Chancellor.

The programme for Söderhamn on the 5th of May:
9.00-10.30pm
Study visit to Pepab Produktionspartner AB who collaborate with Gävle University by, amongst other things, employing a Co-op student, Mikael, who studied earlier at the Centre for Flexible Learning (CFL).
11.00- 1.00 pm
Public meeting at CFL where the Vice-Chancellor presents the higher education institution.
There will also be information about Söderhamn and CFL, as well as lunch afterwards.
1.30-2.30 pm
Visit to the research corridor at CFL, where researchers have in the past been attached to Gävle University; most recently, Lars Löfqvist who now does research on innovation.
3.00-4.00 pm
Day ends with a discussion about future collaboration.
