Sustainable value creation through circular business models

The project Sustainable value creation through circular business models, is run by RISE through Fiber Optic Valley in collaboration with the University of Gävle, the steel cluster Triple Steelix and the Gävleborg Region. Through the investment, companies get a free offer to make a flying start in their change work.

The project's goal is to arouse interest, support and encourage the use of business models in a circular direction in both companies and in the public sector. Those who participate are given tools to, through circular business models, contribute to creating great added value for customers, reducing carbon dioxide emissions and developing the market for circulating materials and reducing waste.

Within the framework of the project, two areas of specialization have been identified:

• Development and implementation of circular business models in and together with the county's companies.
• Mapping of material flows to create a market for used material

In our area, we explore opportunities around resources and energy to achieve better resource efficiency, find new business models and be more circular
