It is important to properly reference other people's texts that you use in your own work. Here you can read about how to properly reference different materials and find information on different referencing styles.
When you are writing essays, reports and other academic texts, you may quote or refer to others' texts and results, as long as you do this correctly and inform your reader of your sources.
When using reference management systems, such as Zotero or Mendeley, you can import references from databases, insert references into documents and prepare a list of references for your essay or report.
At the University, student theses and research publications are published in DiVA. The student registers his/her thesis for publication in DiVA.
There are specific rules to consider regarding copyright, personal data and the use of online material.
