University of Gävle Scholarship Opportunities for Prospective Fee-paying International Students
The University of Gävle offers scholarships to high performing international students who are required to pay tuition fees.
The scholarship offers a reduction of 75% of the tuition fee. Scholarships opportunities for programmes starting in August 2025 are scheduled to be announced in October 2024. There will be no scholarships available for programmes starting in January 2025.

Autumn Semester
One-Year Master's Programmes
Business Administration, Accounting, 60 credits
Business Studies: Sustainable International Studies, 60 credits
Management of Logistics and Innovation, 60 credits
Two-Year Master's Programmes
Electronics/Automation, 120 credits
Geospatial Information Science, 120 credits
Three-Year Bachelor's Programme
Social Work – Specialization International Social Work, 180 credits
Scholarship for African Students in International Social Work
This is a scholarship for you who seek to work in the field of International Social Work, Development Studies, Eco-social Work and Green Social Work and to contribute to the development of your country and region.
The scholarship, initiated and funded by Iyabo Theresa Ogionwo Memorial Foundation, covers the entire tuition fee, but not living expenses, for studies at Bachelor of Science in Social Work – Specialization International Social Work.
